Washington Gastroenterology has announced a collaboration with WovenX Health to use the company’s on-demand telehealth platform to improve GI care and patient outcomes.
“Working with WovenX has helped us provide quick and easy care for our patients with GI symptoms,” said Dr. Jason Sugar, of Washington Gastroenterology. “This innovative platform has not only reduced unnecessary emergency room visits but also shows our dedication to offering personalized, high-quality care.”
WovenX’s telehealth platform allows patients to receive specialized GI care with an average wait time of under thirty minutes. By providing immediate access to GI-trained providers, the platform helps patients get care without going to the emergency room, which reduces extra health care costs and stress.
“Our partnership with Washington Gastroenterology exemplifies our mission to revolutionize patient care through cutting-edge technology,” said Sheri Rudberg, co-founder and CEO of WovenX Health. “Together, we’ve been able to make a real impact on patient outcomes, and we look forward to continuing to enhance the delivery of GI care.”
A study by Washington Gastroenterology and WovenX presented at the American College of Gastroenterology Conference found that more than 97 percent of visits conducted through the on-demand telehealth platform were deemed appropriate for initial virtual care by supervising gastroenterologists.
