Gastroenterology of the Rockies has opened a new clinic. Chief Executive Officer Lara Kelley says the larger clinic will provide more patients with access to quality digestive care, especially with the current shortage of gastroenterologists.
“The addition of this larger GI clinic in the heart of downtown Denver will give more patients access to quality digestive care at a time when we are faced with a physician shortage, especially in specialties like gastroenterology,” said Kelly.
Dr. Joseph Cassara, MD, MBA, will become the new board president and chief medical officer of the group in October. Cassara has been advising the Board since 2022 and his role will involve close collaboration with health system partners, clinical practitioners, and executive leadership to achieve positive patient outcomes and maintain high standards of care at Gastroenterology of the Rockies.
